4. What is the duration of the UNDP Procurement Training courses?
Course duration varies. Introductory certificate lasts 4 days, Advanced certificate and Diploma lasts 5 days, these are also available as ½ Day courses over 8 – 10 days. Specific course lengths are available when you register.

Yes, participants are required to complete in-class tests as well as an activity workbook, after which you would be registered with CIPS for the Certification Project (WBA). Successful completion leads to a certification, demonstrating proficiency in procurement.
12. What is the WBA ?
The WBA (Work Based Assessment) is sent by CIPS via email to students roughly 4 weeks after successful course completion. Level 2 consists of 7 questions requiring answers of 450 words per question, Level 3 consists of 10 questions requiring answers of 450 words per question and Level 4 consists of 5 questions requiring answers of 1500 words per question. Students have 7 weeks and 5 days to complete. Detailed instructions and guidelines are provided before and together with the release of the WBA.
