The aim of this course is to provide participants with a clear understanding of:

• Advanced Procurement Planning. To develop the capacity to manage supply markets, risks, systems and procurement planning processes
• Advanced Contract Management. To develop the capacity to manage bid evaluation, contract development and contract administration processes
• Advanced Communication and Negotiation Skills. To identify and improve the communication, negotiation and personal professional development skills required by those involved in advanced level procurement.

The aim of this course is to provide participants with:

• Strategic Development Skills. To develop strategies for significant procurement, including involvement in organizatonal strategic and financial planning and to organize and manage strategic procurement activities.
• Strategic Negotiation Skills. To improve the strategic communication and negotiation skills, including the management of commercial and legal considerations in negotiations, bargaining and conflict and resolution processes.
• Advanced Contract Management. To develop the capacity to manage strategic supply, services and conflict resolution processes.

The aim of this course is to provide participants with:

• A clear understanding of the principles of effective UN and public procurement, the generic procurement process and the role of corporate and transactional procurement
• The capability to plan, implement and evaluate a sourcing process appropriate to the value/risk of the goods/service being procured
• Knowledge of what rules and procedures govern UN and public procurement – and why they exist
